Frequently asked questions

Can't find the answer here? Send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Ordering

Do I need an account to order?

No — guest checkout is fully supported. You'll get a secure tracking link via email so you can follow your order without logging in. An account lets you see your full order history, wishlist items, and get notified about restocks.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can cancel before your order enters the printing stage — once printing has started I can no longer stop it. To request a change or cancellation, contact me as soon as possible at hello@walldoff3d.se with your order number.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are handled through Stripe, including major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). For orders over 500 SEK you can also choose to pay a 50% deposit now and the remainder just before printing begins.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe — I never see or store your card details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Printing & Queue

How long does printing take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the model. Small items (phone stands, figurines) typically take 1–3 hours. Larger pieces can take 6–12 hours or more. Each product page shows an estimated print time.

How does the queue work?

Orders enter the queue in the order they're placed. I have one printer, so each job runs sequentially. You'll see your live queue position and estimated start time in your dashboard or via the tracking link.

What happens if a print fails?

If a print clearly fails, I reprint it at no extra cost. You'll be notified and your estimated delivery date will be updated. I won't knowingly ship a failed print, but small layer lines, seams, and tiny cosmetic quirks are normal with hobby FDM printing.

Can I watch my print happen?

Not a live camera feed (yet!) — but your order timeline updates in real time as the status changes: queued → printing → quality check → packed → shipped. You'll also get email notifications at each major stage.

Materials & Print Expectations

What materials do you print with?

I mostly print with PLA, often affordable everyday PLA, because it works really well for decorative and fun items. I can also print with materials like PETG, TPU, and sometimes ABS/ASA when the model actually needs it and I have the right stock. Each product page shows which materials are available for that design.

What colours are available?

Colours vary by material. Check the product page for the full list of available options. If you need a specific colour that isn't listed, send me a custom request and I'll check if I have it in stock.

What layer resolution do you print at?

Most prints use a 0.2 mm layer height, which is a practical balance of detail and print time. Visible layer lines are normal. For very detailed models I can try 0.12 mm or 0.08 mm — mention this in a custom request if needed.

Are your prints food-safe?

Only natural (uncoloured) PETG prints with no post-processing are considered food-contact safe. Coloured filaments may contain additives. I don't recommend any prints for long-term food storage.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

Currently I ship within Sweden. International shipping is something I'm working towards — sign up for an account to be notified when it's available.

How long does delivery take?

I usually ship within 1–2 business days after a print is finished and checked. Delivery within Sweden is typically 2–3 business days via PostNord or DHL.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order. Most small orders ship for 49–79 SEK. Orders over 999 SEK ship free.

Do you provide tracking for shipments?

Yes — every shipment gets a tracking number. You'll receive it by email when your order is marked as shipped, and it'll also appear in your order timeline.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

Because every item is printed to order, I don't accept returns for change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged, has a clear print defect, or isn't what you ordered, I'll make it right — either a reprint or a full refund.

My print arrived damaged — what do I do?

Email me at hello@walldoff3d.se with your order number and a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery. I'll arrange a reprint or refund as quickly as possible.

How long do refunds take?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 1–2 business days and will appear on your card within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Custom Requests

Can you print my own design?

Yes! Submit a custom request from your dashboard with your STL, 3MF, or reference images and a description of what you need. I'll review it and get back to you as soon as I can.

What file formats do you accept?

STL, 3MF, OBJ, and STEP. STL and 3MF are preferred. If you have a reference image or sketch and need help turning it into a printable model, mention that in your request and I'll quote modelling time separately.

Do you do bulk orders?

Sometimes, for small batches and with enough lead time. This is still one hobby printer, not a factory, so large bulk orders may not make sense. Contact me at hello@walldoff3d.se with your requirements and I'll put together a quote if I can help.
